Leadership Programmes
The Young Leaders’ Programme: ‘An urban Duke of Edinburgh – without the camping!’
We have developed this exciting programme to work with those aged 16-19 who we have already had some contact with us through our schools or detached work. This programme gives young people the opportunity to develop their leadership skills as well as being empowered in bidding for funding for social action projects which they will organise.
The YLP builds a greater sense of community involvement and the importance of making a positive contribution through working as a team.
This is a great opportunity for young people to improve their CVs, learn about themselves and working with others, and have a positive impact on their community. At the end of the programme they will receive a certificate and their file giving evidence of all they have achieved.
